Allie was Cleopatra
and the Chaser was Fred, Fred Flinstone that is.
OH THE CANDY THEY GOT! The good stuff too, like Butterfingers galore, Almond Joy delights, not to forget Snickers, Babe Ruth's and the ever yummy Peanut Butter m&m's! Which Eric stole out of Chase's stash and took to work with him this morning.....and Chase is none the wiser! aw, poor chase! >:> <----- that's my mischievous grin! We did find one box of raisin's in Chase's loot o' candy. But we could easily overlook that faux pas by remembering all the other good candy Chase got...eg: see above mentioned goodness. We were bad Mormon's and went trick or treating on Sunday. But in our defense, we couldn't attend our Ward's Trunk or Treat they held on Saturday night because The Chaser can't do trunk or treats....he just can't. It's too many kids, all at once, walking 2 steps and having to wait in long lines for candy...not mention the kids that get impatient and start to shove. We tried our ward's trunk or treat last year, and Chase melted down like an ice cube in July. It was not pretty. Come to think of it, trunk or treats make me feel a little autistic. Having to walk 2 steps, force your child to say trick or treat, and thank you 5 million times every 5 seconds may sound like tons o' fun, but, not really.
Here's the kids right before we started trick or treating:
People were handing out so much candy, Eric had to run back to the house and empty Chase's bucket 3 times!! S-c-o-r-e
And are they not the cutest Cleopatra and Fred Flintstone you ever did see?
Right as we started out, and I mean, right as we started out, like we'd taken 5 steps, Allie's shoes broke, so she was barefoot all night. We were out 2 hours and she ran barefoot the whole time like it was nobody's business.
Allie washing the night off her feet
My Egyptian princess, with chocolate all over her face, already, after being home 3 minutes.
