(If only the military would give me the okay to have this color on my wall like my friend Cindee. This is her rock star pink living room wall which i think is awesome)
By the way Cindee, if you're reading this...if the military gives the okay for us to move to Vegas, I am sooo coming to visit you and Ryan in LA, so get ready for me! Wanna come Shannon? You may be 11 million months preggo by then tho, but come anyway :)
To celebrate the holiday, we went to church and enjoyed the spirit of Easter in every class.
My favorite thing that happened was everytime someone said the words "Jesus Christ", Chase would say, out loud, during Sacrament Meeting, "AMEN".
He knows that's what you say at the end of a prayer, and he knows that the words Jesus Christ are said at the end of a prayer...who says the boy can't talk!
He also likes to repeat the last word of every sentence, when he's in the mood, and yesterday, in church, he was in the mood.
That's a very "autistic" trait, and we think it's great, because it'll happen unexpectedly, so you better watch what your last word is, because it may be repeated, no matter where you are, or how 'quiet' you're trying to be.
After church, we decorated Easter eggs, called the Easter bunny on the cell phone to tell him we're done and to come hide them.
It was windy yesterday, which seems to be very normal for Alamogordo in the Spring, so we kept it simple and did the hunt in the backyard.

Speaking of groundhogs, I'm often lulled to sleep at night at the sound of them digging their 'tunnel's of fun' under our house, under our bedroom. I'm glad we live in military housing so when the tunnels give out, and the house gives in, it won't be our problem, well, unless we're in it at the time I suppose. I've heard of people turning on the hose and putting it in one of the openings of their tunnels, and leaving the water on for hours and never seeing the water back up.
There's also an invisible line between our yard and our neighbor's yard that the groundhogs don't cross...
Where's Bill Murray when you need him!

Oh i just love reading what you have to say! You have ground hogs and we have wonderful squirels who now have mastered digging or should I say chewing through every single one of the tops of our garbage cans and now can drag food out of the cans. Where do they come up with the idea to drive people crazy? So glad you had such a wonderful Easter! It is so much fun & I love that you called the Easter Bunny from your cell so funny! Have a good one sis b
