8 words you never wanna hear from your anesthesiologist

and I quote " WOW, I've never seen such a crooked back".

Those were the words that spilled from the anesthesiologist's mouth as he came at me with the larger than life epidural needle.

Me: "I know, it's pretty bad huh...."

Him: Bad??? This is going to take me a while to find the right spot so I don't either paralyze you or give you the '2 week epidural headache'....he says as he prods my spine with his fingers with a look of concern and apprehension on his experienced face.

Me: Oh, Uh, okay, take your time...please, take your time.

That happened almost 4 years ago when i was in labor with the 10 pound wonder baby Chase.

I sometimes wonder if he 'hit the wrong spot' because ever since then, I've had lower back pain that was always there, but never this bad. There are some days when i know I won't last through cooking dinner, doing dishes, bathing children, and putting said children to bed. Eric's here to take orders though, some of his jobs include but not limited to: clearing the table, putting away leftovers, starting the bath, tidying the living room and sometimes, when i know i won't last the evening, cooking the dinner...like last night.
"You're up batter" is his cue, and he knows if he doesn't want cold cereal for dinner, he is "Chef Gusteau" for the evening. By the way, the other night i made Ratatouille for dinner, and it was good!
Eric is so good about helping and will do whatever i ask, maybe it's because i have a look on my face that says 'if you dare not do what i'm asking you, so help me...."
I give him time after coming home from work to decompress, I'm not that mean.

It's true, i have a crooked back, and you can tell because one hip is higher.
When i was in 7th grade, the 'people' came to my school to do scoliosis testing on the students. I was given the 'special take home paper" because my spine dared to be crooked.

I must have forgotten to give the paper to my mom.

Down towards the bottom of my spine, it curves like the letter S.
By the end of the day, that "S" is hurtin..

Mine is curvier than this...
Am I going to look like Quazi Moto when I'm old? Eeehhh...i hope not. If so, I am sooo totally going to go trick or treating on Halloween, and I won't even have to dress up!

I think i need to go to a spa and get pampered...and I'm taking donations :)

Update:
We got word yesterday that our EFMP reassigmnet packet was sent off to the AFPC yesterday for review and to expect 4-6 weeks to find out when and where we're getting shipped to.
Gotta love the military with all their abbreviations....keep all your fingers crossed for viva las vegas baby...and if we get Vegas, then come visit us when we get there.

I need you to teach me that look you give Eric - apparently Aaron doesn't comprehend the look I already give him for that sort of situation. Fingers are crossed on our end - we really want you guys to be in Vegas!
