Bear World

After Salt Lake, we stayed the night in Idaho Falls so we could drive to Yellowstone the next day. On our way to Yellowstone we stopped at a place called Bear World. It was very cool. You could drive thru this park that had bears that just walked around, right next to your car! Of course i had to make sure over and over that the windows were locked because i had this crazy fear Chase would roll down his window when a bear came up to the van.  Call me crazy but i wouldn't put it past him! Austim=no fear when it comes to stuff like BEARS. At Bear World, they also had this cool "all white" elk and a mama deer with her bambinos...i love when they still have their spots! So.dang.cute. I'm such a city girl.

(This one apparently had alot to say)

I died when I saw this....so.darned.cute.

I really could have done without the wolves. Yipe! They're more scary to me than a bear!

See how close they got to our van? See Eric's neck? What a cute neck it is!

Allie standing next to the cute fuzzy baby bears they had next door. You could pay 50 more dollars to sit on top of a bus and drop food down to the bears that would get on their hind legs using the bus for leverage, but we opted not to do that. You also weren't allowed to come to a complete stop while driving thru the park because the bears will climb on top of your vehicle. And of course when we're driving thru the park, the bus that is full of bear feeder people on top comes to a complete stop to feed the bears and there was no going around them...but whatchagonnado? Luckily, the bear in front of us was more interested in the Christian church bus full of kids that was stuck behind the 'bear feeding bus' so the bear focused his attention there. I'd rather not have a bear clawing at my new van....I know, dumb reason right?
Stay tuned tomorrow with baited breath for Yellowstone...okay, i guess you can breathe...
