One nice thing about getting stationed at Nellis, is when we get to take the kids to places we used to go when we were youngsters.
One of those places was the Opportunity Village at Christmas time.
(Chase givin some Hallelujah)
(Allie enjoying the scenery)
(The Merry Go-Round= living dangerously. That's right, I have no seat belt on)
(Everyone needs a Christmas pic on a huge sleigh in front of a massive Christmas tree while holding your son so he doesn't climb out while having a huge crowd of strangers trying to get him to look at the camera for us.... Success! Thanks everyone:)
(I guess i'm the only parent who lives dangerously.)
(Who doesn't want a pic in Cinderella's carriage with their son who had to be forced onto it, and their 7 yr old daughter with candy cane slobber ALL over her face, sitting in front of a slightly, but only slightly crazy looking Cinderella to boot. Hmmm, maybe be looking for this as your Christmas card this year. I love these kinds of pics, just keepin it real :)
(The fireman in process of stopping Chase from vamoosing his way to the back of the fire truck. )This is what you see when you first walked in, so Christmassy!
The Opportunity Villiage is just like i remembered as a kid. I loved it then and loved it again on "military get in free night" :)
Happy Holidays everyone!

That looks fun! I've always wanted to go see it but haven't made it there yet.
