Christmas miracles of 2009

This is the note Allie left for Santa...

And these are the cookies and divinity she left for him...the miracle??that were still there when she got up in the morning because "Santa forgot" to eat them. We decided Santa was on a diet this year..or so Allie thinks, because, well, no one wants Santa to go into congestive heart failure due to too many cookies..right? Oh well, it worked.

Allie opening her Barbie's while wearing footy pajamas that she's wanted forever (said just like the little boy on The Sandlot) The miracle in this is that i finally found footy pj's in her size.

Chase wearing a new outfit...the miracle here being that he now owns a pair of pants that aren't floods.

The miracle here is that Chase is actually opening a present. In Christmas's past, he's never showed interest in any of it. This year, his curiosity was sparked!! He's enjoyed the ducati he got from Santa...maybe someday he'll get a real ducati....but i secretly hope not....although his dad would love it.

We bought a house. The real miracle here being that the VA finally appraised a house at asking price!

The Christmas Party:

We decided to have everyone in my family over to our new house for Christmas night dinner. Everyone made it except one of my brother's..who lives in Colorado. We missed you and your family bro!!
It was fun to have a big christmas get-together before my parents leave for their mission to Australia in March, since they'll miss Christmas with the family next year, it was great to get everyone together.

The food bar (i love my kitchen)

When you live in Las Vegas, the food at party's is always "buffet style"...did i mention i loved my kitchen?

Who says you can't partay when there's still unpacked boxes and unpainted walls??

My beautiful, sweet, helpful, wonderful neice Brooky!

Gavin and Chase hangin in the loft
Somehow those 2 adorable autistic children communicate and we love watching it happen!

The crew

The next morning:
(the aftermath)

Chase had gumballs, marshmallows, a few banana's and hopefully not mustard for breakfast.

Then, not too much later, cake.

But when you eat it wearing a Santa hat it, it makes it okay.

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!! Goodbye 2009, hello 2010....two thousand ten, twenty ten, how are you going to say 2010??
