Well I neva!!!

I never go this long without blogging...but busy times have come, gone and lay ahead.
With Eric and Allie having spent 2 weeks in Montana, and Chase and I going to Cedar City to escape the Vegas heat..it's been busy.

Yesterday I went to a spine doctor: and this is what he said:::::
I have Scoliosis (knew that one already)
I have Degenerative Disk Disease (didn't know that one)
I have Facet Syndrome (never heard of that one)

This is my spine...

This is also me standing up straight....

no wonder my back hurts...

Surgery is 'the last resort' I'm being told.

I'm going for an MRI to see which joints are being a problem and which disks are degenerating.

The Doc said I can get these injections that kill the nerve that causes the pain, but like the good body does, it will re-grow the nerve and I'll have to go back for another shot to keep killing it....f-o-r-e-v-e-r.

I'd rather do that than have major back surgery at 31.

Hmm, i'm starting to wonder what I'll look like if I make it to the ripe old age of, say, 80...

I'm thinking I'll probably be able to pass as Quazzee moto's twin. But the bright side to that is I won't have to dress up every Halloween because I'll already look like I'm in a costume!

I also wonder how I was able to carry Chase for nine months, well, over nine months actually, and not die..although in the end of that pregnancy, i was pretty certain i was dying a slow death...

This was me with 2 weeks still to go, and weighing 70 pounds more than I do now. Chase was a big, big, did I mention, big baby. How did I walk around with that? Oh that's right...i didn't.

Speaking of putting on 70+ pounds, could i be well on my way back there if I keep eating DQ Blizzards?...althought when it's 113 outside, i'm sure you just sweat out all those calories as soon as you step outside in the summer here, right? Right?

I can't believe how huge you were with chase. It really blows my mind that you could stand up with your belly that big. It looks like you had triplets in there.

I mean all of this in a kind, funny way.

So sorry Amber. I can't imagine you pregnant. You have always been so small.

My brother has scoliosis (how ever you spell that) and has to get shots in his back every 3 months or so. Your back is pretty crooked. I can't wait for the quazzimoto days ahead.

Holy Cow! I'm sure you heard that a lot, but you are sooo tiny. I can't imagine having to carry a big big baby! :-)
