It's official. I guess I'm stressed, but I don't 'feel' stressed.
Maybe the Sonic dollar menu has become my nemisus. Because it's weird, i just have heartburn.
I haven't had melt-downs or lost sleep at night. I haven't snapped at anyone, threatened Eric's life, or gotten any new gray hairs. Even with what happened yesterday, i don't feel upset.
We finally figured out yesterday that someone, somehow, got a hold of our USAA Mastercard number and has been purchasing stuff, some sent to us, some not.
Only...the stuff they were buying with our card number was unusual, maybe helpful to some, but not really coveted by us.
The first thing that came in the mail, which i had to go and sign for, was a small bottle of colon cleansing pills. "That's weird"...i thought to myself when i opened the 'signed for by me...on purpose' package. "Someone must know me well!"..i thought.
I'm sure that my colon could use a good cleansing and would profusely thank me after, especially since i feed it BX brand Mylanta as of late, but seeing as how the package came from somewhere in China, and all the return info and phone numbers were in Chinese, and the fact that we didn't know who sent it, and for all i know they could be laced with cyanide, i chose to leave the pills in the bottle where they probably belonged.
Most of the small purchases made were not sent to us. And they were such small amounts, we dind't even notice...which was the point of course.
Nothing was over 8 dollars. And it was all health care stuff with skin care remedies.
We only recieved 2. The second one came yesterday.
Face lift in a capsule anyone?
To our luck, the facelift in a jar was in English. We called the company and they couldn't give us any info at all except that it was charged to a Master Card..
When the colon cleansing pills came, we checked our bank account and there wasn't a charge for the 6 dollar pills...and we didn't know who to call because, crazy as it sounds, Eric and I don't speak Chinese. I took the package back to the post office and the post office guy said there was really nothing i could do, since everything was written in Chinese, and at the time we didn't think we were charged for pills, and they wouldn't even be able to send it back because it was all written in chinese.. He said if i didn't want them, he'd give them to his co-worker. Enjoy those pills co-worker man.
USAA was great about taking the charges off and refunding our money! And then cancelling the card of course.
I still have the 'facelift in a capsule' jar...any takers?
