I told Allie "due to it being April Fool's Day, we would be having dessert for dinner and dinner for dessert."
I made Sheppard's pie in cupcake form and colored the mashed potatoes to look like frosting for cupcakes.
For 'dinner' i made 'grilled cheese' but really it was 2 pieces of pound cake toasted, with food-colored yellow frosting for the 'cheese'.
She and Chase were fooled.
Job well done.

Okay so did you happen to get your table at ShopKo? Ours was the same color as your but then I day I was bored and decided to paint it black! So funny! great taste by the way and way to go on April Fools you area great mom!
