When I was a missionary in Wisconsin in 1999, Elder Wirthlin came to my mission and spoke. It was an amazing experience and wonderful feeling from the Spirit to have been able to hear and meet an Apostle of the Lord. I loved his talk from April's 2008 General Conference when he said "We cannot apologize for the truth". He was speaking about not compromising on Gospel truths. I love that I will always hold dear the memory of meeting him and shaking the hand of a man that devoted his life to the Gospel. I loved the story he told about an experience he had while playing football, and having a choice to make that could affect him the rest of his life. You can read about that experiince in the article if you click on the link.

I've wanted to post pics from Thanksgiving, but I can't find the cord that attaches to my camera so that I can get the pics off the camera. Oh well, we had a great Thanksgiving with my in-laws and Eric's sister. I hope everyone's holiday season will be a safe and happy one.
