What Allie wants to be when she grows up....

As I was sitting with Allie on the couch today, (she stayed home from school today due to contracting the pukies, yes, it IS that time of year again already, bring on the barfing...), we were watching Reading Rainbow. We're talkin an OLD episode, well they're all old now, but this one was particularly old, very very early 80's and the theme for the books was dancing. So they had these kids, all wearing different colored overalls, with of course one strap 'unstrapped'...and they were dancing. She thought it was great and didn't understand why i was chuckling and shaking my head while they did the "Roger Rabbit" and other such lovely 80's dances... Anyway, she started telling me all the things she wants to be when she grows up..
Here's the list... I hope she lives a long long long long time :)

Soccer teacher
Swimming teacher
artist
draw-er
color-er
music conductor
school teacher
be on TV
dancer
library teacher that reads books to kids
a good jumper on the trampoline that can do back flips
a singer teacher that sings
work at the BX and commissary so she can buy the things she wants
be a ninja teacher
and lastly....
work in a donut factory 'if there's one around'.

Well, hopefully we won't still be living at Holloman AFB because, sadly, there isn't a Krispie Kreme in Alamogordo NM. Guess we'll just have to move back to Viva Las Vegas for that dream to come true :)

Mmmmm, donuts...

That is quite the list. At least she is aspiring to be something great - like a donut factory worker. I think I would gain 100 pounds a year if I worked in one of those.

All off her aspirations are fairly do-able. Some of them can be summer jobs for her when she hits high school.
