Meet Sally

This is Sally. She's our cat. Well, kind of. I really don't know if it's a girl and I'm not going to check. Allie said there's no way it could be a boy cat because it has green eyes...ok Allie. Yesterday the cat showed up and of course Allie fell in love with her right away. We think she's a stray. Last night we fed her some milk and a can of cat food. This morning, she was ready for more. Tonight when Eric came home from Home Teaching, she was back. I really don't mind having an 'outdoor cat.' Plus, she seems to be trying to catch the mole, or gopher or whatever it is that is digging holes in our front yard. There's probably around 10 holes, but what this lovely little creature does is dig a hole and then cover it up. Yesterday we took the hose and turned it on full blast and put it down the hole for an hour and a half, and the hole never filled up. We called entomology to take care of the little critter but I kinda feel bad because what they do, i learned, was put some kind of smoke down there that sucks out all the oxygen from the tunnel. Aww...anyway, entomology never showed up last week, so the little caddyshack critter lives to see another day. One good thing about having Sally around, is she 's trying to hunt the thing...go Sally go.
