Playing catch up

And it's soooo not going very well.
I think I'm so far behind, I don't know where to start!
Kinda like when your house is a mess, and I mean every single room in the house needs tiding up and you just don't know which room to start in? Not that that ever happens to me of course. Is it grammatically correct to use the word 'that' twice in a row in a sentence. I didn't really wanna use 'that' twice but it just felt right! Whachagonnado?

Allie and I saw Disney On Ice last Wed with our friends Lindsay and Emily. Lindsay and I surprised Allie and Emily with tickets. We drove them all the way to the Thomas and Mack Center and told them we were there to see a UNLV Runnin Rebels basketball game. They weren't excited but tried to stay positive the whole way walking thru the parking lot.

The guy yelling "Get your Disney on Ice programs here" gave it away! When Allie heard that, she about died with joy!
If you ever have a chance to go, GO.
It was so much fun. There was a little girl sitting a couple rows behind us that kept yelling "MICKEY....MICKEY...DO YOU SEE ME?? MICKEY....UP HERE!!!

Mind you, that we were high up top in the balcony, so sadly, Mickey didn't see her, but being up so high, you could see everything and no one's big melon was in the way!


The ice skaters were really good and did some cool tricks. Remember that movie "The Cutting Edge" that came out in the early 90's about the hockey player turned Olympic ice skater? Remember that move they did in the end that was so dangerous but they surprised everyone and did it anyway and it won them the gold medal? Yeah, they did stuff like that in the show.

Our favorite, of course, is Aladdin so when they came out, we cheered, we hollered, we whooped and wooed.

Notice Chase not talked about or pictured anywhere? He stayed home with grandma and grandpa and was none the wiser. I think when i win Publishers Clearinghouse Sweepstakes and can afford the the VIP tickets, ya know, the one's where you sit right up next to the ice, then I'll take Chase to it. Until then, 10 dollar balcony seats for us will do!!!!

P.S. Blog: I'm so far behind on playing catch up that I'm going to start working my way backwards to Christmas and later. My goal, dear blog, is to do a post a day to catch up. I know you're going to be waiting with baited breath! But I don't recommend it! :) You may suffocate and die but I'll try my best!
