*The movie Back To The Future was released and became the highest grossing film of 1985; also released that year was Rambo:First Blood Part II, Rocky IV and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome were released...just to name a few

*Robert Ballard, Jean-Louis Michel, and crew, find the Titanic...

*The Cold War was ongoing...

*CD's were introduced to American consumers

*A gallon of gas cost $1.09

* A movie ticket cost $2.75

*A postage stamp cost 22 cents.

*Ashley Tisdale was born, and the undoubtedly, painfully handsome Rock Hudson died.

But most important, these little slices of heaven were being used :

And as of this week, i now have one sitting on my kitchen table, and i couldn't be more happy.
We have plans, this overhead projector and I.
I found him on Craig's List for 30 bucks...30 bucks can you believe it? I tell you what.

There will be trees painted on some walls, elephants and giraffes on other's, and Disney princess silhouettes on Allie's wall of course...
It will be divine, and on the off-chance that any of my plans turn out...i'll post pics!

Eric's leaving on a TDY (temporary duty assignment) soon for the next 10 days, I've gotta do something to occupy myself. I've been toying with the idea of decorating the bathroom he calls "his own" while he's gone as a surprise for when he gets back. It's our downstairs bathroom that he uses to get ready for work at 4:15am so he doesn't wake me up....because i don't do 4:15am very well.

Any suggestions on what to do or what to paint on the wall??
