Gone Awol, but didn't mean to!!!

This time, instead of my camera going AWOL, it was me!
Life has been busy, which is good, but bad for my blog I suppose.

So much has gone on and instead of boring you with the deats, i'll tell about it in pics.
So...
deep breath...
here goes..

Here's Allie with our new cat Sally Mally.
She was my parents cat but since they've up and decided to move to Australia (and not because they're having a terrible, horrible, no good very bad day) they needed someone to take care of her.
She was always an outdoor cat, till now, so she's nuts, but Eric loves her, not to mention Allie and Chase, well, he just likes pulling her tail.

(Pedicures....they're a must in my world in order to stay sane)

(Leid Discovery Museum in downtown Las Vegas, it's a kids dreamland)

(Here you can shove your kids into a cylinder so they can 'touch' a tornado)

(I promise Chase wasn't crying, or even screaming for that matter...at least I don't think he was, no one inside could hear anything, but he came out smiling, so....)

(Before)

(After)
(This is our front entry way that has cathedral ceilings...it was more than a one person job to hang up anything. We also hung curtains on the windows so you can now walk around the loft upstairs in your birthday suit if you so desire and the people across the street don't get a free show. )

(Eric read to Allie's 1st grade class during Nevada Reading Week. Eric chose to read Shel Silverstein. The class LOVED the stories he chose and so did the teacher! After we left she read them some more because she happened to have Where The Sidewalk Ends sitting on her desk)

(Chase got a haircut, that ain't no piece of cake!)

(My parents left to serve in the Australia Melbourne Mission for the next 18 months. Here they are with their mission president.)

(The fam that came to the farewell)

(Me with my sibs, minus one sister who couldn't make it, we missed ya!)

(My brutha's)

(Me and my sista)

This little girl has strep throat and currently needs my assistance due to her throat hurting like a 10 on a scale of o-10.

and i have a little boy asking "i want go to school please" which is a mighty fine sentence to hear from his once "non verbal" self. Too bad it's Saturday...but now he's asking for cookies, and that I can supply!!

Until next time....

Love the pics and I especially liked the reference to the Alexander book - it's always been one of my favs.
