My daughter dared to turn 7.
Seems like yesterday she was just 3 and we were living on Okinawa and at the beach everyday.
Now we're in Vegas, she's in 1st grade, and she's smart as a whip, and whip's are smart....
Since her b-day is in Sept, and school started at the end of Aug, and we just moved here, we opted to just have a 'family' b-day party, on her actual b-day, which was on a weekday, so not everyone could come, but next year can be a big friends b-day bash, because she'll know more peeps and turning 8 is, well, kind of a big deal ya know?.
The above pic is her having her 'b-day' breakfast. I'm such a good fun mom, serving up a gourmet bowl of cocoa puffs for breakfast...every child's dream right?
Getting happy birthday sung to her by everyone.
There was also lots of Mario Kart Wii played at the party...Allie is the champ. Wins 1st place everytime...kicks everyone's butt and tells me constantly i need to practice while she's at school.
Maybe i'll get around to that one of these days, until then, i'm fine with her being champ and watching Eric lose to a 7 year old every time.
Until next year Allie, have fun being 7!
