I have a question, and if you can answer it, you will win a million dollars...

Why, oh why i say, do car seat companies make car seats so hard to take apart?
Do they not consider the fact that pooping, puking, spilling little people sit in them, sometimes for hours on end and...things happen?

It's great fun when you're son's car seat is full of poop, yes, literally, full of poop, and you can't get it apart to throw in the washer and set on the longest cycle possible.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. When you're almost 4 year old son is perfectly content sitting in a diaper full of said poop, (note to self...gatorade is a bad bad drink to give to Chase) quite amazingly odorless poop, and when you go to unstrap the 5 point harness only to find poop up the front and for added fun, the back, then you've got your work cut out for you.

Yes, Chase is almost 4 and still sits in a car seat that has the 5 point harness strap thingy.
One of those backless booster seats that only need the car's seat belt to strap them in are as useless as a pogo stick in quicksand. He shimmy's his way out in .2 seconds and stands up on the back seat saying "sit down" to himself, smiling.
The Military Police don't think it's cute either.

I got him a new car seat tonight and made sure it was easy to take apart to disinfect when the situation deems necessary. It's not the 5 point harness but it did look like it would be harder to produce Houdini like tricks.
Although, Chase never ceases to amaze.
