Moving in June

We got orders to Nellis AFB in Las Vegas.
We got them because we need to be where Chase can receive autism services. We enjoy where we are stationed but they don't have the services for Chase here.
This will be our first time in our married life since joining the Air Force that we get to live around family. It will be nice for our kids to get to know their aunts and uncles, cousins and even grandparents better.
My hope is for Chase to receive the proper care, and get to a place where he doesn't need the therapy anymore, and then we can go be adventurous again somewhere, say, Europe!! or Japan again!! Anyone who knows me knows I'd go back to Japan in a heartbeat and never return! :)

Living in a big city again will take alot of getting used to. We've lived in small towns for almost 7 years, well, Okinawa isn't a small town, but it's a small island!! See?....

And Alamogordo New Mexico is a small town to someone who grew up in sin city, and I'll miss it here.
But we are excited to finally get Chase the help he needs to succeed. And we know that he'll benefit from being surrounded by so many loved one's! Allie is excited to see her grandparents more often.

On Monday for FHE, we went to see the Harlem Stars perform. They're like the Harlem Globetrotters, but "better" as they put it. It was good, entertaining, family fun.

(this guy is in the Guinness Book of World Records for being able to jump over crazy stuff and make a slam dunk)

(They played a game against some Airmen from base, they Stars won but the Airmen put up a good fight)

(Allie was excited to see them :)

(So was Chase)

(Here we are right before the show started, sittin in the 'tiger pit' at Alamogordo High School)

Ok, now..back to work purging our belongings so we have less to move :)

Congratulations! The best thing about is having someone else pack and move you. It was the only thing that kept Brien and I married when we moved here.
