Spring in Alamogordo means...
... the return of....
wind, very gusty wind
freshly hatched and very hungry mosquitoes

roaches

growing bravery of the groundhogs

gigantically huge dust devils and tumbleweeds proudly rolling across the road between town and base.

the return of abnormally large housefly's

Winter, i say, where did you go? Were you ever really here? Yes, i think you were, and I loved you.
I miss you.
I am not ready for you to go.
But Spring has come.

The good thing about Spring, is, at least for now, we get to sit on our porch swings and enjoy the gently warm/cool breeze...when it's a breeze and not a gust ;)

Last evening, Chase and I shared some time out there, no gusts, just a breeze, and it was bliss.
Thank you for that Spring.

Another good thing about Spring, is, it's time to plant marigold's in our garden so we can watch them grow right under our feet while sitting on the swings.

Ok, Spring, I guess it's okay if you come after all. Because it means marigold's and porch swing time with my babies. And I'm more than okay with that.
