I am home alone with the kids all week, in Alamogordo, and mostly broke. But I WILL find a way to go to Chuck E Cheese in the next town over, and to the hoppin new McDonalds in town before the week is up. Exciting eh??
The first day of Spring Break went off without too many catastrophes....
Allie shut her own hand in the back door...hard. Bruised it somethin' fierce!!
Chase had an explosive diaper at the park (didn't think anyone would want to see a pic of that) and dumped out a full bottle of shampoo (the good kind) in the bathtub.
Allie tripped on the way home from a friend's house and bruised her other hand, then stubbed her leg on my hope chest while running to tell me she had found her 'lost' bear.
Chase took my last 2 eggs out of the fridge and slammed them together in his hands.
I was christened with my first mosquito bite of the season...when you hear the words "New Mexico", do you happen to think of mosquitoes? Well, you should, and this year, we're lucky because they're thrice the size they were last year! It's like they've been genetically enhanced just for kicks and giggles.
One may be a bit discouraged by those happenings, but not I, because I have this...
Except for being eaten alive by the genetically mutated mosquito, it was a fun day, filled with surprises and the joy of looking forward to tomorrow night when a bunch of us ladies, with husbands no where to be found, will be sitting down at my house with popcorn, Dr. pepper and Edward. Yeah Spring Break!

Fun!! I miss my Alamo girls, you guys always do fun things!! I miss it terribly! Poor Allie, Greg will be soo sad to hear she got hurt.
I wanted to rent Twilight the other night, but decided to save it until a movie night when Brien is home.
I know Allie's hurt, but she looks so pretty, even with the sad face.
