And the cat came back, well, sort of

THIS is our cat One-der. She's completely blind in one eye, probably 'legally blind' in her 'good' eye, and she's psychotic... a few fries short of a Happy Meal. Don't let her sleeping peacefully on the back of the couch fool you.

She likes to venture outside, slightly, to roll around in the dirt but if the door looks like it's even thinking about shutting, she bolts back inside on the verge of a heart attack.

This is Eric. He's the culprit that left the screen door open because "the night air was nice". The courtyard door was open too, and the cat got out, it got dark, and she got lost.

During all of this, Allie and I were at Monsters vs. Aliens, which is a-w-e-s-o-m-e by the way, but a warning..even if you own a pair of 3-D glasses, Disney and Dreamworks forces you to pay the extra 2 dollars anyway, 'as if they even need that money' said the guy that sold me the movie tickets. I much agreed with him.

When we arrived home, Allie went to find the cat, and we realized in 3.5 seconds she was missing...all while Eric was home the whole time and had no clue. If a tornado came through and picked up the house, but left the couch, the TV and the Dish network satellite, he would be none the wiser...

So i went out looking for her on a wing and a prayer. My 'nightvision' is completely useless...at night. Needless to say, i didn't find her.

My thoughts were, she freaked out and ran away getting lost, or was happy to be free and hunt birds and bugs...or one of the coyotes on base got her...i had lots of scenarios really.

Today I found her under the neighbor's porch chair, having lost all will to live. Thanks to military housing all looking the same house after house, she was waiting on the wrong porch.

Ya know how you think you want something, and then you get it, and you realize that it's not what you wanted after all? Too much of a good thing, ain't a good thing.

Murphy's Law at it's finest eh?

We're going to see it tonight, at our funky old used-to-be-a-theatre-is-now-a-movie-theater-with-yucky-seats.

When I was little, 3 or 4, I walked into our military housing and found a few kids standing in the laundry room that didn't live there. It was so weird.

I'm glad you found your blind cat - if that is what you really wanted!

I am so glad that your cat came back! Well sort of came back! That would be very confusing to find your house when they all look the same! Glad to hear the movie was good Xan has talking about it and I hate going there and being dissappointed! Way to be the movie critic!
