The Cast for Mr Glass

Chase a.k.a. Mr Glass, (like Samuel Jackson's character on the movie Unbreakable) got his real cast today. He didn't like the process and kept saying 'hurt'. We were pretty excited that he was associating the right word for the way he was feeling! He did pretty darn well for someone that hates to be man handled. So here's the beginnings of getting the cast put on.









Viola! It's done and it looks perfect. Now, if only he didn't have to have it sawed off tomorrow. We got a call from his doctor on base saying that the x-rays that we sent down to El Paso today to the Army Hospital where the Orthopedic Surgeon is, showed that a piece of bone had broken off and needs to be pushed back into place. Mr Glass is going to be Mr. Pissed off tomorrow when they fix the sharred bone fragment. Maybe he'll get to come back with a Neon green cast, that could be awesome.
